We are dedicated to fostering and nurturing a vibrant community of women of color who share a passion for cycling. Our primary focus lies in promoting the joy of cycling, particularly among women and girls of color.

We believe that outdoor adventures not only provide thrilling experiences but also foster personal growth, promote physical well-being, and create lasting memories. We aim to inspire and empower our members to embark on unforgettable journeys, explore new landscapes, and forge lifelong friendships along the way.

Chispa wields the power of the people and the strength in our voice to rally and engage grassroots communities, drive awareness and inclusiveness, and boost the local communities’ participation in governance and democracy to shape critical environmental policies and decisions that directly affect our people, our environments and ultimately, our future.

Nevada Conservation League Education Fund (NCL EF) works to protect our climate, air, water, land, and health by translating conservation values into priorities that we actively promote so all Nevada’s communities can thrive. We recognize certain communities are disproportionately impacted by environmental degradation and climate disruption and seek more environmentally just outcomes at all levels of our work. We strive to work in a way that recognizes and builds a deeper understanding of issues of racial and social justice and in a way that builds a more inclusive organization.

People of Red Mountain (Atsa Koodakuh wyh Nuwu, in Paiute) is a committee of traditional knowledge keepers and descendants of the Fort McDermitt Paiute, Shoshone and Bannock Tribes working in coalition with allies to protect our ancestral homelands.
